400年以上の歴史がある定置網文化が息づく地で、編むことで命をつないできたかつての暮らしを見つめ直しました。1年間通して開催され、地元漁師やボランティアスタッフ指導の元、観光客や市民など延べ人数にして1000人以上の人が編んでいきました。この時に生まれた場は、氷見の人が自分たちの言葉で地域の魅力や独自の漁業文化について第三者に伝える機会となりました。富山湾に面した比美乃江公園に設置された〈そらあみ〉は、白銀の世界の中、氷見漁港、唐島、水平線から立ち上がる立山連峰という、まさに氷見らしい風景を捉えていました。By knitting Sora-ami in a city where the tradition of fixed-net fishing is still alive, we could reflect on this local culture passed down for more than 400 years. The project had been held throughout the year and a total of over 1,000 participants, including tourists and local residents, knitted Sora-ami under the instruction of local fishermen and volunteers. Through this opportunity, the local residents began to spontaneously tell visitors about local attractions or the fishing culture in Himi City. Sora-ami displayed in Himinoe Park on the Toyama Bay waterfront captured typical scenery such as Himi Fishing Port, Karashima Island and the Tateyama mountain range that rises from the horizon as a winter wonderland.
